AHBHC Program Activities

The heart of AHBHC program is getting ready to become a parent, getting ready for the birth of baby (prenatal care), and taking care of baby (postnatal care).

The AHBHC Program is delivered through the following three main parts:

  • Client-Based Services, which include:

What are Client-Base Services?

Client-based services are one-on-one activities involving the main caregivers of a child or children. A client is defined as a person who receives services from an AHWS-funded program, and for whom case-records or services notes are kept. Each client must have a unique client identifier (i.e. client ID number.)
